Your greeting cards are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any cloud service. The app doesn't require an internet connection to function, ensuring complete privacy of your personal memories.
When you uninstall the app, all stored greeting card images and associated data will be removed from your device, and lost if you do not have a backup. Before uninstalling, we recommend backing up your data using the Export feature in Settings. This will create a single backup file (a zip file with a .gug extension) containing all of your card images and data, and can be imported when you reinstall the app.
Currently, you'll need to manually transfer your greeting card images to your new device. You can do this by using the export feature, moving the export file created to the new device, then importing. This even works moving between android and ios devices. A future subscription version of Guarded Greetings will support cloud storage.
